diy anniversary gift

this didn’t transfer in my blog when I switched over… so here you go again! Happy Friday, y’all!

First of all, thank you so much for all of your sweet comments and feedback about the new blog design!!! Your words mean so much to me!
Sorry I’ve been a little MIA this weekend. Mini has been sick and I messed my back up on an organizing binge Thursday.

Alas, I’m here today to show you my anniversary present to Andrew. As I’ve mentioned before, money is very tight, so I was looking at something I could make for free that would still be meaningful!

anniversary

This is what I came up with!

I love it, and so did Andrew! We couldn’t decide where to put it, but he decided to take it to his office (after I got a few quick pictures)!

I simply found some of our favorite places on google maps and printed them out on cardstock.

I tried to make sure they were all at the same zoom distance (ocd)

Then I cut them out in hearts.

I already had the black frame with the great white mat.

I cut out scrapbook paper and then glued the hearts on, but not flat, to give it a 3D effect.

I left the glass out!

Waalaa! What do you think?!?
