helping hundreds of moms create a healthier, balanced home

I am a grace-filled work at home green mama and wife. I love creating new things, and re-purposing old things. I come from a long line of great southern cooks so I love to cook, but try to prepare healthier, simpler meals for my family. I have a passion for helping other mom’s find healthy solutions and establish balance for their family. See more here Read More Here...

I love that!
What an awesome idea! I am totally making these. Thank you!!
This is adorable! I’ve done a similar gift filled with gumballs for the end of the year, saying, “I’ve had a ball with you this year!”. But I love the idea with M & M’s and the sweet sentiment with all the colors.
I’ll share my favorite first day of school gift, at the risk of sounding self-promoting. I make and sell laminated books called “How to Pray for Your Students”. Each page has a prayer for students and a Bible verse or two that correlates with the prayer. They can be personalized also, to say “Mrs. Yerkovich’s Prayers for Her Students”, etc. Here is a link to the listing in my shop: https://www.etsy.com/listing/62791599/how-to-pray-for-your-students-spiral
Since my second child is now starting school and has the same teacher my firstborn had, I can’t give her prayer cards this year – so I’m definitely going with the cute M 8 M jar for her! Thanks so much!
I just love this! I have a child that will be starting kindergarten next week! Do you happen to have the document of the poem that you’d be willing to share? I just found your blog and am trying out some of your freezer recipes this week!
I think it would make a great gift at Open House. I plan to leave it on my son’s desk with the teacher’s name on the tag. Just a thpught worth sharing.
LOVE this and my daughter just went to the store to get what we needed to make it for her first day of kindergarten tomorrow. thanks for sharing!
