bring the rain

This song use to play on my blog when it was just a personal blog (seems like eons ago now, but was really just a year)!

And it’s been on my heart all weekend. So I thought maybe some of you could be encouraged by it.

I hope you’ve had a fabulous weekend! Andrew left for a 1200 mile road trip Friday at 2:00p and made it back early this morning! Praise you Lord, for keeping him safe on his 33 hour 2400 trip… Elizabeth and I played and baked and took a dual bubble bath! And then last night we had a great dinner and time with amazing friends! Love our time together!

More later, enjoy the song. I’m off to enjoy the rest of my glorious weekend!

  1. I just stumbled upon your website via a pintrest post. I LOVE it! thanks so much for your entries on freezer cooking with healthy entrees. i have seen several blogs about it- but none have been so straight forward, or made this goal seem so attainable! i am a single mom, and work full time- so i am excited about starting this- as a step to get my daughter (3 yrs old-i’ve been terrible about updating her blog!!) and me off of processed food. The way you have presented this-freezer cooking, it almost seems fun and i am going to present it to another single mom in my neighborhood to see if she would like to do it together. Getting into healthier eating is a big challenge for me- it seems so confusing to me because there is so much information and i get easily overwhelmed. so far i think my goal will lean towards going towards local fruits and veggies, gluten free and trying to find a local butcher. Thanks again for your posts. i look forward to following you for some GREAT inspiration!!

You can do it!!! It really is easy, and doing it with someone else is a great idea! Make a fun day of it! Real food vs processed will make such a difference for you, and you will find it gets easier and easier… Best of luck!

  2. I love your site! I also found you on pinterest. Thank you for the easy and kid friendly recipes. I am nana of a blended family. We are four adults and two children and one of the kids is a very picky eater. (Our own fault). It will so nice to not worry about what’s for dinner each night since by dinner time I am exhausted. Thanks again…
