Tip 12 – Cutting Cost at Home {31 Days of Change}

Tip 12
Here’s another unnecessary thing that I don’t use, but I know a lot of folks who do… Plug-ins. If you have to plug something into your home to make it smell nice something is not right. Do you know how much money you can save if you use them regularly? I’m thinking $6-$10/month which is easily over $100/year. If I need something to freshen the air I use a mix of water and lavender oil (I have a whole post on lavender coming up…) and open the windows for fresh air. So much healthier for you, too! No harmful chemical toxins filling your home! Or, I place a candle on a warmer for a li’l bit. Check out this page about all of the cancer-causing ingredients and other toxic chemical in plug-ins.
