Get Clean, Starting with the Kitchen Sink

First, please don’t judge. These before pictures are bad. And, I haven’t edited any of them in hopes of showing you how they really look(ed).

This sink is old. And off white enamel. Everything stains it. If my stainless pots and pans scuff it, it leaves terrible marks like this. If a sos pad sits in it for more than a few seconds, it immediately leaves rust. If you pour coffee or tea in it and don’t rinse it out, it shows! About the only thing that would really work was bleach. And even that didn’t really get it cleanclean. I tried everything else from magic erasers to comet, to kitchen cleaners, and my other all natural cleaning solutions. I got so tired of trying that I would just sanitize it each night and call it clean, despite what it looked like. (if I owned this house, I would totally replace the kitchen counters and sink!)
See? I told you it was FUNKY!

(those little black spots are where the enamel has actually come off)

Here’s the handy dandy faucet. Which we did replace. We bought it practically brand new at a reclaim store.
But our water stains it pretty bad. I’d tried most of my other cleaners to get it off…

and I don’t even know how this got soooo funky. gross. gag.

As soon as my Scour Off arrived from Shaklee, I knew exactly what I was going to try it out on first!

AMAZING, right? And again, those black specks are where the enamel is chipped!

So much better, right? And just for giggles, let’s see one more…

So easy, so cheap, so fast! Most importantly, so SAFE!
