Today, while searching Target for an undershirt for Elizabeth I of course hit the dollar section! And I couldn’t believe I finally found a steel (or fake steel) bucket! I’ve been looking for one for a couple of years, but never wanted to pay $20+ for it. Can you believe this was only $2.50? It had to come home with me!
I’ve had this idea for a few years. I have no idea where I first saw it, but I love it!
Now that I have my flowers in one, I realize it would be an awesome idea for your regular ice bucket. Or to store toys, toiletries, magazines in! The possibilities are endless!
1} Design the letter in the font you want. I used CAC Pinafore and printed it out on cardstock with
Microsoft Word. (The cardstock makes your stencil more durable)
2} Gather your supplies – I used fallish ribbon, but I will probably change it with the seasons!
3} Cut out your letter & tape it to your bucket (I use an exacto knife, but you could do it with scissors).
4} Paint like you would with any stencil and when dry (if you’re patient) carefully remove the tape & stencil.
5} Use q-tips to edge any messes
6} Attach your ribbon with hot glue
7} Run to the store and purchase mums – but not big ones like these, because they look ridiculous.

Ok! I am SUPER impressed!
You make this look really easy but I am NOT CRAFTY AT ALL!
Maybe I'll get up enough courage to try to stencil an initial on a pumpkin like your other link!
